Account Deletion & Data Removal

At Chhotubhai Chaat Center, we respect your right to delete your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how you can request account deletion and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using either of the following methods:

Option 1: Through the App

1. Open the Chhotubhai Chaat Center app
2. Go to Profile (tap on your profile icon)
3. Select Settings or Account Settings
4. Tap on Delete Account
5. Confirm your request by entering your password or following the verification steps

Option 2: By Contacting Us

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us:

• Email: support@chhotubhaichatcenter.com
• Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please include the following in your request:

• Your registered email address
• Your registered phone number
• Your full name (as per account)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your account and associated data have been deleted.

What Data We Delete

When you delete your account, we will remove:

• Your profile information (name, email, phone, profile picture)
• Saved delivery addresses
• Order history and preferences
• Payment method information (stored tokens)
• Favorites and saved items
• Any other personal data associated with your account

What We May Retain

For legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes, we may retain certain information for a limited period:

• Transaction records: Required for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution (as per applicable laws)
• Anonymized data: Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you
• Legal obligations: Data required to comply with court orders or regulatory requirements

Such retained data will be deleted once the retention period expires or the legal requirement no longer applies.

After Account Deletion

• You will no longer be able to access your account or order history
• Any active orders will be completed, but you will lose access to order details
• You can create a new account at any time if you wish to use our services again

Request Data Export (Before Deletion)

Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data. Email us at support@chhotubhaichatcenter.com with the subject "Data Export Request" and we will provide your data in a readable format within 30 days.
